One Year Friendship Reunion

Towards the beginning of March, my lovely friend from Georgia flew into San Diego to play tourist and celebrate our one year friendaversary! We met one year ago working at Walt Disney World together while participating in the Disney College Program! (I will do a separate blog post on the program).

We started the the weekend at the Carlsbad Flower Fields, which I HIGHLY recommend you taking the time to go see! It is an incredible place to spend the morning or afternoon. We were able to take a tractor ride and explore the whole area and see SO many beautiful flowers.

*Attention readers: the flower fields is a great date idea because it's romantic and you can also pick strawberries and take those adorable Instagram photos hehe*

After the flower fields, we made our way down to San Diego to visit a major historic spot, Balboa Park. This park is beautiful and is filled with so many beautiful artifacts, incredible buildings and museums. Balboa Park is definitely on of the major tourist attractions for friends that come to visit San Diego. My friend and I walked around, took photos, and I got an iced peach tea from the Japanese Friendship Garden!

After Balboa park., we drive across the Coronado bridge to visit the infamous Hotel Del. This hotel is seen on so many postcards and also is a major tourist attraction! If you have not been to the Del, definitely plan a trip to Coronado and spend the afternoon exploring the grand hotel.

*Hint hint: across the street there is a Mexican food restaurant named "Miguels" that may have the BEST QUESO EVER!*

After our day of San Diego exploration, we of course had to make a appearance at the happiest place on earth, Disneyland!!! The first day we spent at Disneyland and the second day we conquered Disney's California Adventure. These two days were so much fun and we packed so much in!!! We tried to do as many rides as we could, see as many shows and meet all the characters! It was such a blast and so magical! I can't wait to see my beautiful friend again and this was definitely a memorable one year friendship reunion!
