Staying Motivated!

Staying motivated can be SOOOO difficult! Lately my schedule has been so busy between both jobs, blogging, seeing friends, making my relationship a priority, spending time with family and doing normal weekly tasks (laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, etc...). These are the times when staying motivated is the most crucial. I wanted to share three tips on how I stay motivated and what keeps me going!

1. Keep your goals in mind: Write them down, take a picture of what you want, envision life after you have achieved your goal, what ever may drive you to keep going, DO IT! I know for me, I will start off really strong with my plan or idea but then it slowly fades away or I get lazy and forget what my end goal is. After I started seeing a pattern of "quitting", I told myself, "Liliha, if it is ultimately important to you, you will make time for it!" This is true for many things such as exercising, cooking healthy food, completing homework, keeping my home clean, nurturing my relationships and doing self-care.
2. Make it a team goal: It is 100% true that there is power in numbers! The more support and encouragement you can get, the better! Plus, if you and a friend have the same goal, it is more likely you will accomplish it because you are doing it together. Staying motivated is so much easier when you have a strong support system. For example, my best friend, Maddie and I both started blogging around the same time and we share helpful information and tips for each other so that we can both succeed! Getting started with blogging has been so much more fun being able to grow and create new ideas together! (Make sure to follow her blog at https://www.moretomaddie.com/).
3. Make your experience fun!: This is so crucial, please remember to have fun throughout your new journey. We have this wonderful life to live and keeping a positive attitude is not always easy especially if you are not surrounded with a good support system. To stay motivated, set timelines for yourself and when you reach each milestone, reward yourself! You deserve it an should be proud of yourself! Your reward could be a day in bed watching Netflix, a new outfit, a spa day, etc...whatever you want! (within reason).
What Keeps Me Going: The biggest motivation for me has always been looking towards the future and envisioning my life as I am inching closer and closer to my goal. I want to achieve as much as I can in life as well as seeing and doing all that i can do. I do not want to regret not taking advantage of an opportunity out of laziness or the inability of staying motivated. I am fortunate enough to have a strong support system and my family has continually told me to reach for the impossible. I believe that I can accomplish any dream if I put my heart, soul and a lot of hard work into it!
I hope you guys ARE reaching for your dreams and it may sound cliche, but you are ALL capable of achieving the impossible. Just keep at it, stay motivated, picture your life as you are getting closer and closer to your goal, and remember to enjoy the process even though it may be challenging at times!
