You are going to "Lauv" this...

HAPPY THURSDAY LOVES!!!

I hope your week has been smooth and motivating! I know, for me, this week has been one of the best weeks EVER!!!

On Tuesday (May 23rd) my mama and I were able to drive up to Los Angeles for Lauv’s concert!

I will tell you more about Lauv later on in the post…

First off, I could not start my trip without a stop at DryBar in Newport Beach because my hair was a hot mess and they ALWAYS do the greatest job at making my hair look tamed but bouncy!

(Three days later...it is still looking INCREDIBLE!)

Next, after getting my hair all pretty, we checked into our hotel and got ready for the concert!

*Now here is the backstory of how I found out about this new and up and coming artist!*

One morning, about 3 months ago, I was listening to Spotify while I was doing my makeup and came across the song entitled, “The Other.” The song and the lyrics and the artist’s (Lauv’s) voice caught my attention RIGHT away.

Soon enough, I purchased all of Lauv’s songs and was listening to his Spotify playlist NON-STOP! After about a month of obsessing over his music, I looked up his tour schedule and saw that he was kicking off his Late Night Deep Talks tour in Los Angeles at the Echo (on Sunset Blvd). The tickets were reasonable so I instantly purchased two and was counting down the days till May 23rd!

ANYWAYS...we made it too the Echo, which is a really small but intriguing and intimate venue. We were able to hear two opening acts before the main STAR. (AHH! By this time, I was FREAKING out!)

GUYS, literally as the second artist was singing, Lauv walks through the main entrance of the venue and walked straight towards the green room...

HE WALKED RIGHT PAST ME.

I COULDN’T SPEAK.

OR MOVE.

LIKE WHAT?!?

I was shaking with excitement to hear the songs I have been obsessing over for months!

Lauv went on stage and sang with such passion, inspiration and confidence. The concert was everything I had hoped for and more! Also seeing all of his fans being so supportive and encouraging was EXHILARATING!

I cannot put the experience into words.

Leaving the concert, I felt so motivated to follow my passions and work hard to make them a reality.

My loves, it got even MORE UNBELIEVABLE. I was able to meet Lauv, talk a couple moments and take a picture with him! I told him, “You are going to be big,” and he responded with the most humble look and smile. I SWEAR THOUGH. He is a genius when it comes to music and has an outstanding performance quality.

The concert was phenomenal and I HIGHLY recommend you all to listen to his music and support this new artist! You will NOT be disappointed and will probably be as obsessed as me!

I know I will be listening to his music and reliving the best concert experience EVER this weekend (sorry babe, you will have to keep hearing the songs ON REPEAT).
